Lift Each Other Up on Pink Shirt Day

Lift Each Other Up on Pink Shirt Day

Did you know that 1 in 5 kids are affected by bullying?

Whether you or a loved one has experienced it firsthand, bullying is an issue we should all take seriously because of the impact on our kids’ mental health and well-being.

Pink Shirt Day was created to foster kindness, empathy, and understanding for children being bullied and to raise awareness about prevention and support for those impacted.

What’s the Significance of Pink Shirt Day?

This year, Pink Shirt Day falls on Wednesday, February 22nd.

On this day, we reinforce our commitment to supporting kids serving as part of the support network for those who don’t know where to seek help.

Members of team SNI (right) showed their support on this day by choosing to wear a shade of pink.

To date, more than $2 million has been raised, with the net proceeds distributed to youth anti-bullying programs throughout Western Canada.

How Can I Get Involved?

Companies and individuals can take action today by donating directly to the CKNW Kids’ Fund, a registered charity based in Burnaby, BC, Canada.

SNI is proud to be a donor and participant in raising awareness. We got our team involved, as seen here – all the better to spread the word in our community and beyond!
