CHFA Now 2024: SNI on the Road!

It was sunny skies and beautiful mountain views in Vancouver this year for the CHFA Now tradeshow and our team was glad to be a part of it! This year, Bernie Desgagnes, Mirjana Latkovic, and Leanne Lutomsky attended the tradeshow to meet with existing clients and create new connections with many more brands.

The conferences were engaging and educational; we were glad to hear from many industry professionals on the topics of natural health products, cost recovery, GMP audits, and some interesting ingredient trends.

Here are a few things we observed at the show:

1. High quality is trendy!

Companies really care about the ingredients they use in their products and consumers both respect and expect that. We talked to many brands who stressed the quality of their ingredients, wanting to build that level of trust and acceptance from their customers.

2. Convenience is key.

Quick, ready to eat products full of functional benefits were very popular at the show. They provide a solution for moments when time is limited, allowing consumers to make better choices even in the midst of a hectic schedule. Whether it's a nutritious snack to fuel a busy day or a convenient meal option that doesn't sacrifice taste or quality, these products fill a crucial niche in the market.

3. Gut health matters.

Gut health has emerged as a major focus in the wellness industry, with growing awareness of its profound impact on overall well-being. As a result, there's a surge in demand for products that support gut health, ranging from probiotic-rich foods and supplements to prebiotic fibers and fermented foods. Consumers are increasingly seeking out these trending products as they recognize the crucial role of a healthy gut in promoting digestion, immunity, and even mental health.
