Source Nutraceutical, Inc. played an active role in the 14th annual Natural Health Product Research Society (NHPRS) of Canada conference (Vancouver, British Columbia, May 8-11, 2017). The 2017 NHPRS event hosted 200 delegates from 4 continents, featured over 60 speakers, and provided updates on current research, key regulatory issues, and developments in quality assurance impacting natural health products (NHPs), health foods and medicinal cannabis. The event also featured sessions on industrial innovations and emerging technologies in the NHP sector; the gut microbiome; and nutrigenomics.
Krista participated in the conference as a speaker; as a session chair (Regulatory Affairs Part 1); and as an invited participant in the Regulatory Affairs Expert Panel alongside Matthew Bown (NNHPD, Health Canada); Dr. William Yan (Food Directorate, Health Canada), and several other industry members.
Krista’s presentation provided an overview of the various Regulatory Opportunities for Caffeinated Products in the Canadian Health Products Marketplace.
