Lindsei Sarna is SNI’s new Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Lindsei has a long-standing interest in evidence-based health products, and brings with her a strong and diverse technical background in the areas of biomedical research, natural health products, nutrition, cosmetics and cannabinoid research.
Lindsei obtained a BSc in Human Nutritional Sciences and a PhD degree from the University of Manitoba. Her PhD research, which she completed at the Canadian Centre for Agri-food Research in Health and Medicine, St Boniface Hospital research Centre, focused on the pre-clinical study of natural health products and their antioxidant effects in cardiometabolic syndrome and fatty liver disease. Lindsei also worked as a senior research associate for a biopharmaceutical company, where she headed formulation R&D activities for cannabinoid-based oral and topical products.
Lindsei has co-authored multiple peer reviewed research publications and has received several research awards throughout her career. She continues to remain up to date with the latest scientific advancements as well as emerging health and consumer market trends.
Lindsei is eager to share her knowledge and technical expertise, and help our clients bring high quality health products successfully to the Canadian marketplace.
