The position of Junior Clinical Trials Specialist reports to the Director of Clinical Affairs and Regulatory Strategy, and is responsible for supporting clinical trial operations and associated study-related regulatory activities.
Tasks will include:
- Data and calendar management within our internal Clinical Trial Management Software (CTMS).
- Supporting site scheduling for clinical trials staff and potential study participants.
- Providing project coordination support to the completion of clinical trial milestones and deliverables within projected budget and timelines.
- Reviewing components of clinical trial-related regulatory files, including Health Canada clinical trial applications (CTAs), research ethics board (REB) applications, study protocols, informed consent forms (ICFs), case report forms, safety summaries, study recruitment materials.
- Assisting the Clinical Trials Team with document management and versioning.
- Completing clinical trial-related administrative tasks related to maintaining project files and archiving.
- Managing and handling flow of various clinical trial supplies.
- Supporting other clinical trial operational administrative tasks as required.
- Providing support to other departments as required.
Position Requirements and Experience
- Recent University graduate in Human Health and Nutrition; Biological Science; Biotechnology; Food Science; or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office.
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- The ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, on a regular basis.
- The ability to work collaboratively with clients and as a member of a Team in a timeline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A positive working attitude.
- The ability to thrive in an environment of growth and change.
Assets:
- Additional education and/or professional certifications would be an asset, including:
- Master of Science (MSc) degree.
- Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM).
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC).
- Experience with clinical trial operations, data management, and/or quality assurance.
- Knowledge and/or experience in working with a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), e-consent processes, e-data collection (EDC), and storage.
- Familiarity/experience with the preparation and submission of clinical trial-related regulatory and/or research ethics applications.
- Experience working with project management software.
- Medical/technical writing experience.
- A desire to maintain and/or improve current knowledge of relevant regulations pertaining to the job function, via ongoing professional development activities (i.e., internal training and/or industry educational opportunities; professional affiliations with industry associations).

- The youth internship will last until March 31, 2024, and the candidate will work 40 hours per week.Eligibility to work in Canada and participate in the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) program:

- a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada

Marketing Coordinator

Overview:
Source Nutraceutical, Inc. is seeking a witty, hard-working, and self-starting Marketing Coordinator to join our team. You will be a key member of the business development team, representing SNI’s brand image through our website, social media, and other marketing initiatives designed for lead generation. As we increase our content production, you will play a vital role in creating, curating, and publishing engaging content across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with the entire SNI team including Business Development, Creative Services, Clinical Research and Regulatory Services, and reports to the Director, Client Optimization.
Eligibility
The youth internship will last until March 31, 2024, and the candidate will work 40 hours per week. This position will be funded under a government grant opportunity, and there are certain eligibility considerations which must be met. Full eligibility details below:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and unique content strategies tailored to each platform, leveraging your understanding of trends, platform algorithms, and audience preferences.
- Assist with website content maintenance and optimization.
- Produce high-quality and visually appealing marketing collateral that reflects SNI's brand identity and aesthetic style.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, clinical research, creative services, photography, videography, and our network of chefs to ensure a cohesive social media presence.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content, making data-driven decisions to optimize engagement and reach.
- Stay up-to-date with the CPG (consumer packaged goods) world, incorporating relevant trends, news, and ideas into content creation.
- Manage content creation, mail lists and general campaigns using project management tools and CRM software to schedule, execute and track results.
Education, Skills and Abilities:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent college level education in marketing, communications, graphics and design, or related field.
- Additional experience in project management, sales, and marketing is an asset.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, person, or organization.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills, with a knack for creating content that resonates with target audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, and their respective best practices.
- Strong eye for design, brand integrity, and consistency.
- Expert knowledge with industry standard design software (Adobe CS).
- Highly skilled with MS office software (word, excel, outlook, etc.).
- Experience with WordPress.
- Familiarity with the CPG and regulatory compliance world, including industry trends, and terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
