HEALTH CANADA NUTRITION FACTS TABLE REGULATION TIMELINE ANNOUNCEMENT
Recently, the CFIA announced an amendment to the timelines in for the implementation of the new NFt regulations. Source Nutraceutical recommends that remaining off of Health Canada/CFIA radar is a proactive step, and will ensure you won’t have any issues pertaining to not following the new NFT and ingredient declaration guidelines within the required time period.

The Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licence program reached its second year in commission on January 15th, 2021. As the regulations are always progressing and changing, the next phase will be coming into effect as of March 15, 2021.

If you manufacture or import NHPs, it is possible that you need more information or assistance in preparing for the NHP GMP Pilot Program. After completion of the Inspection Pilot Program, Health Canada will post a summary report online which publishes individual inspection findings on the Drug and Health Products Inspections Database (DHPID).
